
New York, spine specialist, Dr. Gary Stefanick tells us an uplifting story about a woman who regained her life back after having debilitating sciatica.
Dr. Stefanick is a 1980 graduate of Rutgers College with a B.S. degree in Human Kinetics/ Biology, his further education was received in 1983 as a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Stefanick continued on with post doctorate studies becoming a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board, and is board certified in many forms of physical rehabilitation. In addition to treating many injuries and conditions of the spine he is also proficient in treating and rehabilitating injuries of the extremities, especially conditions of the shoulders, knees, and hips. In addition to using Cox® Technic Flexion Distraction Manipulation of the spine he also includes in and out of office exercise protocols in his rehabilitation programs.
Throughout his life Dr. Stefanick has run 28 marathons in the U.S. and abroad, competed in 67 triathlons, and is an avid skier and tennis player. He has been treating patients from the tristate area for the past 32 years within his west village office.
