Spine specialist, Dr. David Ward and his patient share their story of disabling back and leg pain in a new mom.
Dr. David Ward grew up in Adrian Michigan. It was there that he was first introduced to Chiropractic. After being treated by the hometown chiropractor, he knew he wanted to help heal people just like his chiropractor had done for him.
He soon took off for Central Michigan University to do his undergraduate studies, before moving to Davenport Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Since his graduation, he has worked in clinics ranging as far and wide as Hyderabad, India. He finally found his home in Grand Rapids MI, and in October 2008 he opened the doors to Active Life Chiropractic. Dr. Ward is also the team chiropractor for the Grand Raggidy Roller Derby team.
Dr. Ward is proud to be a part of one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the world, the Shiners Hospitals. The Shiners Hospitals are committed to helping children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs. His clinic has also helped raise over 60,000.00 for Cystic Fibrosis research.
