Episode 302 Dr. Colin Son – How AI is Reshaping Spine Care

October 13, 2025 by admin Leave a Comment

Neurosurgeon, Dr. Colin Son shares real-world insight into how new technologies, especially artificial intelligence, are already changing how we diagnose and treat spine conditions.

About Dr. Son:
Colin Son, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery with a focus on minimally invasive care of the brain and spine. As a neuroendovascular surgeon, he treats conditions from inside the blood vessels without an incision and is one of the few endoscopic spine surgeons in the area using a camera and small incisions to access deep and delicate areas around the spine. Dr. Son earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he also completed his internship and residency training in neurological surgery. He went on to complete a fellowship in neurovascular surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Incarnate Word and serves as principal or site investigator for several clinical trials through the Methodist Research Institute and HCA’s national Neurovascular Research Advisory Board.
