Dr. Palmer is a 1997 graduate of New York Chiropractic College. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Virginia Medical Board. He began practice in Altavista, Virginia in 1998.

Dr. Palmer has a special interest in treating whiplash, disc conditions, spinal arthritic pain, and headaches. He has been certified and using Cox Distraction Technique since 1997 which is used to treat disc bulges and some spinal degenerative related conditions.

Dr. McGinnis grew up in a large Catholic family and was the youngest of six. After graduating from Sumter High School and attending Clemson University, he graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1987. Following graduation, he joined his father in practice and formed McGinnis Chiropractic Center. Feeling the need to advance his education and clinical skills, he began a diplomate program in Orthopedics with the National University of Health Sciences which he completed in 1991.

He’s been very active in the chiropractic profession.  He have served as the delegate from South Carolina to The American Chiropractic Association since 1993. He was elected to The American Chiropractic Association’s Board of Governors. The ACA is the largest professional association in the world representing doctors of chiropractic. He is also a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association and currently chair the Medicare and Hospital Relations committees. He has also been honored to be named as a Fellow with the International College of Chiropractors.

Dr. Gabriel Monterrubio Santa María graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, U.S.A., in 1989.

In 1997, he also received his certificate as a “Sports Medical Chiropractor”.

In the period from 2000 to 2002 he completed his master’s degree in “Organizational Human Development” at the University of Celaya.

He is an active member of the College of Chiropractic Scientific Professionals of Mexico.

He has been Vice President of the Mexican Federation of Sports Chiropractic.

He obtained the Certificate of the National University of Health Sciences on April 21, 2013, in “Techniques of Adjustment and Manipulation” from Dr. James M. Cox.

He won a recognition for his participation in September 2013 at the 15TH International interdisciplinary Chiropractic Congress.

He achieved a record of attendance at the Annual Sports Chiropractic Congress held in October 2012 by the Mexican Federation of Sports Chiropractic.

Dr. Gabriel Monterrubio is also a Chiropractic Certified Sports Physician.

In Santo Domingo, Rep. Dominican Republic in October 2009, he achieved the certificate in “Sports Medicine”, by the International Olympic Committee.

In San Juan de Puerto Rico in the year 2000, he obtained a certificate in “Technique of Dr. Cox Part 1”.

In October 2002 he received his record for participation in the “International Congress of Physical Therapy”, awarded by the National Polytechnic Institute, Academic Secretariat, Mexican Association of Physical Therapy.

On this episode, student Casey Rogers from Keiser University College of Chiropractic Medicine shares a case of a 62 year old woman with a congenital fusion.

Casey Rogers is a student in his 8th semester at Keiser University College of Chiropractic Medicine in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Currently, he is a student intern at the Keiser University Spine Care Clinic, A Chiropractic Healthcare Facility.

Prior to his chiropractic education, he worked as a radiologic technologist for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and attained his Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degrees from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania.  As well, he attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine for a year of Post-Baccalaureate studies.

At Keiser, Casey served as the President of the school’s inaugural chapter of the Student American Chiropractic Association and currently serves as student representative of the Research and Curriculum Committees.

When not in class, he enjoys time at the beach, fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.  Casey also is an avid hockey fan and can found cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins.

After graduation, he intends on applying to a chiropractic residency or fellowship where he can continue to utilize Cox Technic and further research.
